How We Affect Positive Change
Cement is the main ingredient of concrete, and its production accounts for seven to eight percent of the world’s carbon dioxide emissions. So, a reduction in the carbon footprint of even one concrete product can make a big difference.
Using proprietary, sustainable mix designs, we are able to significantly reduce our carbon contribution. In fact, our concrete mixes achieve 50% reduction in embodied carbon Global Warming Potential (GWP) when compared to the baseline established by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA).
