DC Students Construction Trades Foundation

DC Students Construction Trades Foundation sponsors high school career tech programs, adult job training, and apprenticeship-related instruction for employees of construction companies serving the District of Columbia.

The Foundation funds the Academy of Construction & Design (ACAD), which puts high school students on the path to careers in architecture, construction, interior design, sustainable building, and facilities management. Offering education and training that leads to pre-apprenticeship certifications, paid internships, industry mentoring, and employer engagement, ACAD helps students gain professional credentials and increased earning power within the first five years after graduating from high school.

Catholic Charities USA

Catholic Charities USA was founded over a century ago by men and women who believed that the collective efforts of the church to faithfully serve people in need could change the course of poverty in our nation.

HEROES, Inc.

HEROES, Inc.® of Montgomery County supports the spouses and children of law enforcement officers and firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty to the greater Washington, D.C. community. The nonprofit organization’s singular goal is to honor the supreme sacrifice made by these individuals by caring for their families, beginning within 24 hours of the tragic loss and continuing indefinitely.

Rebuilding Together Montgomery County

Rebuilding Together Montgomery County provides free critical home repairs, energy efficiency upgrades, and accessibility modifications for Montgomery County’s most vulnerable residents – seniors, veterans, persons with disabilities, and families with children – all living in low-income households.

Team River Runner

A small group of kayakers started Team River Runner (TRR) in 2004 with the goal of helping veterans at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. They offer paddling opportunities to veterans and their family members in more than 60 locations across the nation. TRR is more than an adaptive sports program; it’s a community that offers opportunities for friendship, new-found purpose, and community service. Join our veterans on their river to recovery!

Washington DC Police Foundation

The Washington DC Police Foundation focuses on vulnerable children and neighborhoods with proactive preemptive programs working hand-in-hand with the community. Because modern policing requires more sophisticated training and equipment, the DC Police Foundation also assists with the acquisition of more effective technologies.

Yellow Ribbon Fund

The Yellow Ribbon Fund is a nonprofit veteran service organization providing housing, transportation, and caregiver and family support to severely wounded, ill, and injured post-9/11 service members from every branch of the United States military, following unexpected medical crises.

Giving back

In the Community

We care about the communities around us.

Using many of the same skills gained through construction, our service projects include building and repairing homes for those needing help in our neighborhoods. We also partner with veterans’ organizations serving those who have sacrificed greatly to protect our country. In addition, our company is an active training partner and sponsor of programs introducing high school students and young adults to the exciting world of construction.

And our team regularly walks, runs, donates, gives blood, and participates in other activities to raise funds and resources for local charitable organizations.
