Senior Vice President, Human Resources

As senior vice president of Human Resources, Otto Girr is responsible for managing a six-person department which oversees 1,000+ employees. He manages the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and selection to onboarding through retention. He oversees benefits and employee relations.

Mr. Girr ensures company compliance with HR-related requirements, including EEOC compliance, U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) audits, apprenticeship training, E-Verify and I-9 compliance, and first source compliance.

He has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, specifically in the construction industry. He joined Miller & Long in 1999 and was promoted to VP of HR in 2012.
